![]() This is especially nice when flying an ILS, since the needles stay perpendicular to each other throughout their range of travel. The ID-825 has rectilinear meter movements, instead of pendulum, which makes it easier to read. Seems internal to the radio as I tried another mk12d and did not experience the same issue (although the mic gain seemed so blown out, and VOR wasnt working, but the sound level was great throughout the flight).Īny idea or advice, besides I should just throw the damn thing away. The ID-825 is the most modern Narco VOR/LOC/Glideslope Indicator. Hi Folks Up for Bid/'Buy it Now' today is a nice 1973 Cessna 150L 3311TT, 1250SMOH. Emission patterns of the localizer and glide slope signals Glide slope station for runway 09R at Hannover Airport in Germany. The Narco MK-12E also features: Solid state design. This version also includes an internal 40 channel Glideslope Receiver, which will drive a Glideslope Indicator. The MK-12E NAV/COMM tunes in 200 NAV channels and 760 COMM channels. Transmission during this is still good, as the tower can hear me, all output (including sidetone) is dropped. This display shows simultaneous active and standby frequencies for both the NAV and COMM sides. Its barely audible (same through the airplane speaker as well), and if I pull the breaker or hit the PTT, it will get loud and then quickly drop volume back to barely low levels. It's like someone literally turns the volume down. Fly it for over an hour flight or so (more prevalent when its hot outside as well) and the volume will start to degrade and finally drop. I realize I should just throw it away, but just trying to limp along until my other airplane is done.Įverything works as it should, fairly loud (could be a smidge louder), sidetone is great, rx and tx is great. Hello everyone, wonder if someone can help out with a radio issue im having with this (dreaded) mk12d. MX-12 NAV/COMM/slide-in replacement for Narco MK-12A NAV/COMM.
